Madagascar avifauna is known on his high degree of endemism
and this is due to its insularity. Each ecosystem has its native
bird population. 230 bird species are found here, far less than
what is found on the African continent, but very particular
for their behaviour and habit. Let us say that more than
half of those species are endemic to Madagascar such as the:
VANGIDAE Hook billed, Sickle billed Vanga, Helmet bird;
CUCULIDEA, Giant, Running, Crested Coua; PHILEFITTIDEA, Sun bird
Asity, Ground Roller.

appointed us as ground operator agent for shore excursions during
their call in NOSY BE, DIEGO-SUAREZ, TAMATAVE, FORT DAUPHIN and
TULEAR ports. An overland tour from port to the capital city
Antananarivo may also be arranged.
CULTURAL
TRIP
Quite different ethnic origins generated the customs and
believe of population. Folk songs, funeral arts, culinary art of
each area show the various sources of the different tribes living
on the island.
For example: SAMBATRA (the collective circumcision) inherited
from the Arabs, FAMADIHANA (reburial of the dead, still
celebrated in Indonesia) which testifies the Asian origins, and
as for musical instruments such as Kahiamba, Ramboo, the
Korintsana (percussion and drums) they came directly from Africa.
Due to their different origins, the Malagasy people, a
combination of 18 main tribes, have a high cultural wealth.
